Research assistant position (ingénieur d’étude, IE) at the IGF

A 2 years research assistant (ingénieur d’étude, IE) position is available in the group of Guillaume Lebon in the Molecular Pharmacology department of the « Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle », located on the Arnaud de Villeneuve Medical Sciences campus in Montpellier (http://www.igf.cnrs.fr). The department of Pharmacology of the IGF is internationally established in the field of GPCRs and molecular pharmacology and provide a state of the art research environments. Our Group is a new ATIP-AVENIR team, focus on structural studies of G protein-coupled receptors. We are aiming to determine the structure of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) by using X-ray crystallography. Funding is provided by « Fondation pour la Recherche Medical ». We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate with experience in Molecular Biology and protein expression using eukaryotic and insect cell expression systems. Protein biochemistry skills would be also appreciated.
