ANIMAL MODELS

    • 5-HT4 receptor knock-out (Compan et al. 2004).
    • 5-HT1B receptor knock-out (Saudou et al., 1994 : coll. R. HEN)
    • Tryptophane hydroxylase 2 knock-out (Gutknecht et al., 2012)

Underway : 5-HT4 Receptors Activated Solely by Synthetic Ligand 5-HT4 – RASSL mouse

EXPERIMENTAL DEVICES

    • Running wheels (Activity-based anorexia) and feeding or liquid preference
    • Metabolic cages

TECHNICS

    • Behavioral tests (cf. supra)
    • Intracerebral microsurgery combined to pharmacological treatment in behaving animals
